Exact rules and system boundaries. For an introduction, start with how Agent Breaker works.

Matching and outcomes

The target must appear as a contiguous substring in an eligible visible model response. ASCII letter casing is ignored. Spaces and punctuation must match exactly. Hidden reasoning and ineligible responses do not count. Only the settled contract result determines the financial outcome.

Payment allocation

  • Loss: 70% of the attempt payment joins the bounty, 15% is credited to the creator, and 15% to the platform.
  • Win: the existing bounty and 85% of that attempt payment are credited to the winner. The remaining 15% goes to the platform; the creator earns no fee on this attempt.
  • Invalid result or timeout refund: 100% of the attempt payment becomes claimable by the player. Bounty and next price are unchanged.

These allocations exclude network transaction fees. Credits require a separate withdrawal. The creator is excluded from playing their own market.

Prices and funded rules

A market’s funded challenge and pricing configuration is fixed. Prices use integer wei in increments of 20 wei. Percentage increases round upward to that increment, then respect the effective price cap. Display values may be rounded; transaction values remain exact.

Settlement, administration, and recovery

Authorized backend services run model inference and report results. Onchain commitments bind the recorded content and outcome; the contract does not independently prove that a model performed the inference. Inclusion in a local chain block is not L1 finality.

Pausing, recovery, upgrades, and result authorization follow the deployment’s administrative controls. An open bounty cannot be withdrawn on demand. Recovery requires the specified notice process for an unsolved market. Eligible principal consists of the starting seed and players’ accumulated loss contributions, not every fee they paid.
